| The film tells the story of the heroic defense of the Brest fortress in Belarus assaulted by the Nazi in the morning of June 22, 1941. Having been totally outnumbered in soldiers and weapons the citizens of Brest fought to the bitter end for 29 endless days. The events that took place in the first days of the invasion are depicted with documentary accuracy, the characters are real. The film features unique footage of that time and the few veterans survived in the battle are involved. The details will sail you to the big scale war saga depicting a heart-wrenching story of bravery and self-sacrifice.
